According to MacWorld, Sony’s new big boss told its shareholders that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has trouble using Sony products because the user interface is way too complicated. Her Majesty is a happy iPod user and enjoying the idiot-proof Apple interface.
That reminds me my little iRiver player. It’s just way too complicated. I learned how to use it and enjoyed it for a while. My wife took it from me for one month. After getting it back, I totally forgot how to use it.
I think for any type of user interface, it’s better to stick with the KISS rule. Keep It Simple & Stupid.
