Who’s Arthur?

My name is Arthur Hsu and I am currently a Senior Principal Software Engineer in Symantec.  I am responsible for design and development of consolidated firewall, home networking, and antispam in Norton Internet Security, Norton Antivirus, and Norton 360.  My designs already shipped with Norton products since 2007 and are used by millions of users all over the world.

Along side being a professional Windows and C++ developer, I happened to be a guru in VB, C#, UML, x86 assembly, and SQL.  I lived in the Unix world before and sometimes I blog Unix-related stuff.  There are quite a few languages/tools I also knew/mastered before but not using now, so I might had bias against them or provide overdue information/tricks, e.g. Java, Perl, Photoshop, etc.
