Norton Internet Security 2007

I work on the firewall part of NIS 2007 (“work” is an abbreviation of “design, implement and debug”). It won PC Magzine Editor’s Choice in October, which made me very happy 🙂
To top it off, PC Magazine recently published their 2006 Year in Review feature where they rate the best and worst technologies of the year. In the category “Software – Apps that run on your PC—not on the Net” Norton Internet Security 2007 is among the Top 5 applications that debuted this year.
Best of all, among the Top 5 worst software introductions of the year (dubbed “The Craptastic Five”) are Microsoft’s OneCare and McAfee Total Protection. Hoorah!
