Norton Internet Security 2007
December 13th, 2006
I work on the firewall part of NIS 2007 (”work” is an abbreviation of ”design, implement and debug”). It won PC Magzine Editor’s Choice in October, which made me very happy
To top it off, PC Magazine recently published their 2006 Year in Review feature where they rate the best and worst technologies of the year. In the category “Software - Apps that run on your PC—not on the Net” Norton Internet Security 2007 is among the Top 5 applications that debuted this year.
Best of all, among the Top 5 worst software introductions of the year (dubbed “The Craptastic Five”) are Microsoft’s OneCare and McAfee Total Protection. Hoorah!
