{"id":70,"date":"2008-05-26T04:04:25","date_gmt":"2008-05-26T08:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cchsu.com\/art-en\/?p=70"},"modified":"2008-05-26T13:06:45","modified_gmt":"2008-05-26T17:06:45","slug":"troubleshooting-network-connectivity-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cchsu.com\/art-en\/2008\/05\/26\/70\/","title":{"rendered":"Troubleshooting Network Connectivity (1)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Part of my job is to help people\u00a0troubleshooting network connectivity issues.\u00a0\u00a0As you all know,\u00a0network today\u00a0is not really\u00a0a plug-and-play thing, at least not as easy as setting up a toaster.\u00a0 So, when we have a network issue, what or where should we look at?\u00a0 Here are summary of the steps I typically use and I&#8217;ll elaborate these items in this series of articles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rule out stupid issues<\/li>\n<li>Rule out hardware issues<\/li>\n<li>Rule out\u00a0configuration issues<\/li>\n<li>Rule out software issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rule out stupid issues<\/strong><br \/>\nHere are some of my favorite stupid issues.
