What if the reviews are wrong?

People read reviews from media when they are shopping. What if the reviews that they found are actually technically inaccurate? Okay, in plain English, what if these reviews are bull shitting and average Joe can’t tell?
I’ve seen these for several years when I read reviews about the products that I worked on. Apparently I am not the only one who sees similar issues. Is there anything like “review on review”, or nominations regarding “Worst Review Or Nonsense Garbage”? I’d like to know about it.
