Columbus Day
October 11th, 2004
Today is Columbus Day. My company does not give us a day off 🙁
Columbus discovered America on Oct 11th some long time ago. My boss said that this day should not be celebrated because it’s not politically correct. It is worth celebrating for immigrants but not for native Americans.
It’s good to know that though. I’m here in US for 3 years and this is the first time I happen to know about the stories behind Columbus Day.
